Writing code for the final

To what degree do we need to know how to write code for the sorting
algorithms and search algorithms (BFS, DFS etc)? Do we need to know
pseudo code or full implementations?

You will need to write some java code for the final, but nothing that is longer than a few lines. And you do not need to memorize the Java API. Essentially, the final will be similar to the two Prelims.
