Are grades for the course going to be curved at the end of the
semester, or will that be ignored for the individual curving of the
Assignments and Tests?

On a somewhat related note: what is the median grade of the course
probably going to be? In past semesters it has been B+ it looks like.

As I said before, I curved the individual assignments and prelims so that you always knew where you stood during the semester. Once all grades are in, this means that you can basically compute your final grade given the policy and the percentage ranges given on the website. That computation will give you a lower bound on your final grade. Bonus points, outliers, etc. might still raise that grade.

Since I do not curve the final grades for a particular median, the median is going to be whatever it is. But given the grades I see so far, I do expect that it will be somewhere around a B+.

Cheers

Just out of curiosity, why was the final exam curved to a max above 100?

Also, is it possible to get these back since they're already graded and there's still a week of finals left? Obviously not for a regrade, I'd just like to see how I did in certain areas.

...I am also interested in the answer to this question.
