When Running XP12, the Product Manager does not initialise in XP12 at all. The xjet folder exists in plugin library but nothing shows when running XP12. I have ticked the checkboxes as advised for integration in XP as said.
I run the installer from standalone and it says it has installed but it has loads of issues when loading a flight, sound modules issues, cockpit not correct visually, no landing gear, all sorts of mess.
Started XP with default 172 and xjet manager worked so I selected 350 and it installed it, looks like you must have the xjet plugin active to make 350 work as it should. I too ran into after install it looked crazy like a pic above.
I have successfully debugged it at my end!! Everything needs to be 'run as administrator'. Yes of course I do that for installers always anyway, but your .exe of Xplane has to be done the same also. I have a steam version of XPlane and I ran Steam in 'run as adminstrator' mode and I got the product manager to load into XP12 and I installed the plane again. However I did a test first. I closed XP12, closed Steam and then ran Steam in normal mode, and of course the same issues occured again. So again I ran Steam in 'administrator' mode and started XP12 again and it all loaded up fine, no problem.
I guess try running XP in admin mode or Steam, which ever. I've never in my life had to do that for XP. so that is a first. Try running the product manager in stand alone mode from desktop and you'll get an access denied message. Of course run it as 'administrator and it works'.
Permissions are messed up with Airfoillabs Installer and Xjet. The installer as said has to be run each time as admin AND Xplane 12 has to be run as admin for Xjet to work. Came here after continued installation and activation issues. Obviously an issue with Xjet permissions.
