Role: Senior IT Project Manager
Duration: 6 months with extension
Location: Chicago, IL ( Hybrid onsite )

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage complex IT programs with cross-functional dependencies.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource estimates.
• Track project progress, manage risks, and adapt to changing priorities and timelines.
• Coordinate efforts of internal teams and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Communicate clearly and consistently with stakeholders through reports and updates.
• Oversee quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure project documentation, status tracking, and governance standards are met.
• Act as a mentor to junior project managers or team members.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings and lead discussions as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or scientific field (or equivalent work experience).
• Scrum Master certification required; PMP certification is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing multiple IT projects concurrently.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven experience with both Agile and traditional SDLC methodologies.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Visio, Clarity, and Jira.
• Ability to work independently and make critical decisions with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in high-pressure environments.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, with experience gathering business requirements and coordinating across departments.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
• Background in the technology sector or similarly fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
• Experience managing vendor resources and third-party engagements.
• Familiarity with enterprise-level governance and change management processes.
