We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM (Discovery & Service Mapping), ITAM (HAM & SAM), and AI-driven capabilities including Now Assist.
The ideal candidate will provide end-to-end architectural leadership, establish platform governance standards, align ServiceNow capabilities with enterprise architecture frameworks, and drive transformation initiatives across infrastructure, cloud, and IT operations.
This role requires strong technical depth, strategic thinking, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, and technical teams.
· Define overall ServiceNow platform architecture aligned with enterprise architecture (EA) standards.
· Lead solution design across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and AI modules.
· Establish CMDB governance, data model standards, and architectural best practices.
· Create high-level and low-level design documents (HLD/LLD).
· Ensure platform scalability, performance optimization, and security compliance.
· Provide architectural roadmap aligned with digital transformation strategy.
· Architect and standardize:
o Incident Management
o Problem Management
o Change Management
o Release Management
o Service Catalog & Request Management
· Drive ITIL-aligned process transformation.
· Design automation workflows using Flow Designer and Orchestration.
· Enable SLA, reporting, dashboards, and operational KPIs.
3️⃣ ITOM Architecture (Discovery & Service Mapping)
· Architect enterprise Discovery strategy including:
o MID Server architecture
o Horizontal & Top-Down Discovery
o Cloud Discovery (AWS, Azure, GCP)
· Design and govern CMDB data models and CI relationships.
· Lead Service Mapping implementation for business services.
· Implement Event Management and integration with monitoring tools.
· Define reconciliation, identification rules, and data governance strategy.
· Architect Hardware Asset Management lifecycle.
· Architect Software Asset Management (SAM Pro) including:
o License reconciliation
o Publisher normalization
o Compliance dashboards
· Integrate procurement and contract lifecycle management.
· Ensure compliance and audit readiness.
5️⃣ Now Assist / AI Enablement
· Lead adoption of Now Assist (GenAI capabilities) within ITSM & ITOM.
· Implement AI-powered use cases:
o Ticket summarization
o Knowledge suggestions
o Incident resolution assistance
· Evaluate and recommend AI-driven automation opportunities.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to define AI governance and controls.
6️⃣ Enterprise Architecture Alignment
· Align ServiceNow with:
o Cloud strategy (AWS/Azure/GCP)
o Integration

Security & compliance standards
· Define integration architecture using REST, APIs, middleware.
· Ensure platform alignment with enterprise integration standards.
· Establish development standards and coding best practices.
· Conduct architecture reviews and code reviews.
· Lead and mentor developers and technical leads.
· Drive platform upgrade strategy and technical debt remediation.
· Act as primary technical advisor to business and IT leadership.
· 10+ years overall IT experience.
· 6+ years of ServiceNow experience.
· 3+ years in Architect or Lead Architect role.
· Strong hands-on experience in:
o ITSM
o ITOM Discovery
o Service Mapping
o CMDB Governance
o ITAM (HAM & SAM Pro)
· Experience implementing enterprise-scale Discovery solutions.
· Strong understanding of ITIL framework.
· Experience designing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
· Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
· Experience with enterprise data modeling and CMDB design.
· ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
· ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist:
o Discovery
o Service Mapping
o SAM
· ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
· Exposure to Now Assist / AI capabilities
· Experience in telecom, healthcare, banking, or large enterprise environments.
· Enterprise Architecture framework knowledge (TOGAF preferred).
