LWC, Apex, Integrations



Summary

The Senior Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing and
delivering end-to-end, high-quality digital experiences across the
Salesforce ecosystem. This role combines front-end expertise in
Lightning Web Components (LWC) with back-end development in Apex and
integrations to create seamless, secure, and client-centric solutions
for donors and partners.

The ideal candidate transforms real client challenges into intuitive
capabilities within Experience Cloud and Financial Services Cloud (FSC),
leveraging modern DevOps, automated testing, and Salesforce
Well-Architected principles — focusing on trust, simplicity, and
adaptability.

Success in this role means building effortless donor experiences through
reliable, scalable, and maintainable Salesforce solutions.



Requirements:

· 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development, including both LWC
(front end) and Apex/Integration (back end).

· Proven experience implementing Experience Cloud for external
users or portals.

· Experience in nonprofit or financial services environments
preferred.

· Strong background in CI/CD using Salesforce DX, DevOps Center,
and Git-based workflows.

· Integration experience with REST/Bulk APIs and middleware (e.g.,
Boomi, MuleSoft).

· Knowledge of Salesforce Well-Architected principles and modern
Apex design patterns.

· Technical: LWC, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Apex, Triggers,
SOQL/SOSL, Flows, Platform Events, OAuth, Git, DevOps pipelines (GitHub
Actions / Azure DevOps), Automated Testing.

· Analytical: Strong problem-solving mindset; ability to break
down complex client problems into deliverable components.

· Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills for technical
and non-technical audiences.

· Client-Centric: Focused on delivering business value and
exceptional user experiences through iterative feedback and agile
collaboration.



Responsibilities:

1. Full-Stack Salesforce Development

Design, develop, and deploy high-quality features using LWC, Apex,
SOQL/SOSL, Flows, and Platform APIs.

Prioritize performance, scalability, and maintainability in all
development efforts.

2. Experience Cloud Development

Build and enhance secure, personalized donor portals using Experience
Cloud.

Implement self-service capabilities such as profile management,
contribution workflows, and grant-related tasks, driving engagement and
retention.

3. Systems Integration

Develop reliable REST/Bulk API integrations to connect Salesforce with
enterprise systems.

Ensure unified data flows and consistent donor experiences across
platforms.

4. Modern DevOps & CI/CD

Implement Salesforce DX, Git-based version control, and DevOps
Center/CI-CD pipelines.

Conduct automated testing, code reviews, and frequent low-risk
deployments to enhance delivery velocity.

5. Architecture & Standards

Apply Salesforce Well-Architected principles for security, scalability,
and adaptability.

Utilize modern Apex architecture patterns and adhere to ALM best
practices.

6. Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with UX, Product, and Client Services teams to identify
user pain points and deliver impactful solutions.

Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly terms for
stakeholders.

Mentor junior developers and admins to promote excellence and
consistency.

7. Quality & Reliability

Maintain robust unit and integration tests, implement monitoring, and
design for resilience.

Ensure adherence to platform security and compliance standards.

8. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

Stay up to date with Salesforce releases (e.g., Data Cloud,
AI/Agentforce, FSC, Experience Cloud).

Proactively identify opportunities to enhance donor experiences and
simplify operations.
