Role Overview
The ideal candidatebrings strong architectural thinking, hands-on coding capability, and the ability to design scalable, resilient solutions
in a complex financial ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end design and development of enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and
Microservices architecture.
• Build and optimize Kafka-based streaming pipelines for real-time data processing.
• Design scalable data models and integrate with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Work with Snowflake for data warehousing and analytical workloads (good to have).
• Contribute to Hadoop-based big data processing frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Utilize GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and production support.
• Work in an Agile environment and contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Engage with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
• 15+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise software development.
• Strong expertise in:
o Java / Java Full Stack Development
o Spring Boot, Microservices
o Apache Kafka (streaming, producers/consumers, schema registry)
o SQL & NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Solid understanding of system design, architecture, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Spark preferred).
• Strong knowledge of GitHub, GitHub Copilot, and AI-driven development workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced financial environment.
Good to Have
• Cloud experience (AWS or Azure) – deployment, containerization, managed services.
• Experience with Snowflake for data warehousing.
• Exposure to financial services or capital markets.
Soft Skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior developers.
• High accountability and ownership mindset.
