Job description:

We are seeking a skilled Performance Tester to design, execute, and analyze performance, load, stress, and scalability tests for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will ensure system reliability, responsiveness, and stability under varying workloads by leveraging industry-standard tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance test scripts using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, or similar.
• Analyze system behavior under various loads and identify bottlenecks in application, database, and infrastructure layers.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and business analysts to define performance test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Monitor application performance metrics (CPU, memory, response time, throughput, transactions per second, etc.) using APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic).
• Perform root cause analysis of performance issues and provide tuning recommendations.
• Prepare detailed test reports, dashboards, and documentation for stakeholders.
• Support continuous performance testing in CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and security compliance in performance testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, Gatling, or BlazeMeter.
• Proficiency in scripting (Java, Python, Groovy, or C) for customizing test scenarios.
• Solid understanding of web technologies, APIs (REST/SOAP), databases (SQL/NoSQL), and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of monitoring & profiling tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, Kibana, New Relic).
• Experience with CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) for automated performance testing.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and distributed testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify bottlenecks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to security and reliability testing in addition to performance testing.
