Role: Security Engineer - Data Loss Prevention
Location: Mountain View, San Diego, Plano, Texas. (Hybrid)
Rate: $65/hr. C2C
Job Overview
The ideal candidate will join a team of motivated & creative security engineers with a passion for solving complex security problems through technology.
We are seeking a Security Engineer to design and implement Data Loss Protection capabilities for complex security use cases, identifying bad actor threat behaviors and preventing/reducing malicious behavior within our client platforms ecosystem. You will be on the forefront, using and securing with AI technology. You will play a critical role in understanding & identifying security risk and apply strong engineering skills to implement end to end solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design and architecture of the projects, by creating and maintaining technical documentation, technical specifications, and test plans.
- Develops, deploys, and operates security controls from endpoint agents, security policies, and downstream feeds/reporting.
Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related area, or equivalent relevant experience
- 6+ years of Data Loss Prevention ( DLP ) & Privilege Elevation Security Experience.
- Strong Analytical, problem-solving, and creative mindset
- Experience with using and securing ML/AI is a strong plus.
- Strong experience with industry Security Products ( Netskope, Zscaler, CrowdStrike, CyberArk ) with Python, JSON, Jira skills, and AWS.
- Strong experience with deploying and managing DLP security products.
- Excellent communication skills. Communicates clearly, succinctly, and persuasively to all levels of employees, customers, and management
- Strong AWS Solution Automation Experience
- Strong DevOps and SecOps Experience
- Experience with various Software Development Lifecycle Process ( Agile Development, SCRUM methodologies, etc.)
