Position Title: Interactive Designer

Location : Washington, DC-Hybrid(1 time in a month) so we can look into DMV and nearby states

Client: Amtrak

All visa will work except OPT, CPT

 

 

Duties

•             Create low- to high-fidelity wireframes of front-end screens for Commerce

•             Develop clickable prototypes for validation with stakeholders and end users

•             Apply consistent UI patterns, branding and accessibility standards

•             Define interaction states that tie to backend responses

•             Iterate designs basked on feedback and performance of prototypes

•             Ensure front-end designs meet WCAG and ADA accessibility requirements

•             Collaborate with QA on testing

•             Support development sprints with design clarifications

 

Skillset

•             Proficiency in Figma

•             Experience utilizing design systems; component-based design thinking

•             Familiarity with accessibility best practices

•             Operating in SAFe agile framework; scrum collaboration and design sprint participation

•             Responsive and mobile-first design principles

•             Creating design documentation and specifications for developers

•             Data-informed design using analytics, heatmaps, and A/B testing
