Job Opportunity Modem Test Engineer Contractual Posted on 02/19/2026 APPLY NOW Job ID OOJ - 18954 Job Title Modem Test Engineer Location MTV, CA USA Job Description Title : Modem Test Engineer - Day 1 On Site Location: MTV, CA - Day 1 On Site Note : Any Visa Is Fine For This Role - Sure Interview Skills: 5G/4G/3G Cellular, 3GPP, IMS, LTE, 5G NR, Modem Chipset, RLC, PDCP, MAC, RRC, NAS, UE, Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN), Protocol Conformance, Performance, Cross-Functional, GCF, PTCRB, Carrier Certification, Keysight, Rohde, Schwarz, Mobile Device Testing JD:- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field. 8+ years of hands-on testing experience in 5G/4G/3G Cellular modem chipset or device (UE) Protocol conformance, performance, and interoperability. Strong understanding of 3GPP and Carrier specifications for LTE and NR. Execute test plans targeting 5G NR and LTE L2/L3 protocol features (RLC, PDCP, MAC, RRC, NAS). Expertise in 3GPP/IMS Protocol call flows to analyze logs and troubleshoot issues in UE/network protocol interactions. Ability to isolate complex issues across multiple protocol layers and identify root causes using trace analysis tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead and drive testing activities. Hands-on experience with test equipment for GCF, PTCRB, Carrier certification (e.g., Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz).
