InAthens, Georgia you can find over 15 free bike repair stations available for use. These repair stations include a frame to hold your bike, many useful tools, and an air pump so you can make minor repairs to your bike in the field.

The repair stations can be found along Athens-Clarke County's paved trail system, in Virginia Walker and Boulevard Woods Park, at various sites on the University of Georgia campus, as well at several local businesses.

The Bike Shop is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and it offers a great, convenient spot on campus for more extensive bike repairs. Supported by the ASUW student government, the shop offers special rates on bike repairs for students but is also available for faculty and staff.

The self-service bike repair stations installed in 2011 were made possible by a student grant from the Campus Sustainability Fund (CSF). Two additional stations were installed in residence hall bike rooms, with help from the CSF, and the UW Tower Green Team purchased another station for the UW Tower garage.

Vehicles will not be permitted to enter the west section of Hospital Parking Ramp 4 beginning at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 26, and vehicles need to be removed by 6 p.m. Friday. See complete details.

University Parking and Transportation has installed several bicycle repair stations and air pumps on the main campus. These stations and pumps are free to use and provide tools necessary to perform basic repairs and maintenance; from changing a flat tire to adjusting brakes. For help with repairs use the Quick Read (QR) code on the front of the Repair Station to view detailed instructions on your smart phone. To view all locations, check out the Bicycle Infrastructure Map.

There are several bike repair stations throughout New Haven. Each station is equipped with a bike mounting seat, a bike pump, and a set of tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, tire levers, and hex keys) to make repairs easy and convenient. Scan the QR code on the stand to view repair instructions or view the Bike Repair Instructions.

Air Pump: When your tire pressure gets low, stop by a repair station to add air to your tires to prevent flat tires and keep them running smoothly. The recommended tire pressure for your bicycle should be written on the sidewall of the tire.

The Fixit Plus includes all the tools necessary to perform basic bike repairs and maintenance, from changing a flat to adjusting brakes and derailleurs. The special, Dero-designed tools are securely attached to the stand with stainless steel cables and tamper-proof fasteners. Hanging the bike from the hanger arms allows the pedals and wheels to spin freely while making adjustments. Add a second set of hanger arms for double sided access to the tools!

The Dero Fixit stations come with tire levers, screwdrivers and all kinds of wrenches: 9/16-inch pedal, box-end, Torx, headset and Allen. TAPS added a crescent wrench to each of its bike repair stations.

The seven bike fix it stations were installed in the spring of 2019, in high use areas including the Fay Canyon, the City Bike Skills Park at Posse Grounds, Adobe Jack Trail, Chuckwagon Trail, Bell Rock Trail, Sugarloaf Trail, and Yavapai Vista Trail. Here is a map of the locations.

This initiative is part of the Sustainable Tourism Plan, which is a long-range tourism management strategy that helps highly-visited destinations such as Sedona achieve balance, protecting our natural beauty, community character and livability while maintaining a vital economy. Bike repair stations help to improve the quality of life for residents and enhances the visitor experience.

The repair stations also align with the City of Sedona Community Plan to enhance environmental stewardship and improved traffic flow. These public bike repair stations will allow more bikers to ride rather than drive throughout Sedona, knowing they can fix their bikes in many locations. More bicycles will mean less cars on the road, improving the flow of traffic.

These sponsors were acknowledged on February 27 during an annual donation event to the Sedona Red Rock Trail Fund. The Chamber donated $100,000 to the Sedona Red Rock Trail Fund, thanks to the long-term generosity of 50 Sedona Trail Keeper sponsors and the Sedona Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau.

The University features a self-service bike-repair station located underneath the archway near the north tower of West Village A. Residents of East Village have exclusive access to a bike-repair station within the residence.

"The bicycle repair stations are extremely helpful to cyclists who use our local trail systems," said Janae Hunziker, president of the Joliet Bicycle Club. "I have seen riders using them to pump up tires, adjust their bike seat height and fix a chain. There are many tool options on the station for other adjustments on a bicycle to help a rider in need of a minor repair or bicycle maintenance."

At the September Forest Preserve Board meeting, Foundation Chairwoman Ragan Pattison read an email from Hunziker praising the partnership with the Foundation to supply bike repair stations to Will County bicyclists.
