I need help to find out what the Wayne County Treasures dept has plans to do with the 4 family flat at 2995 Rosa Parks Blvd that they have foreclosed on for back taxes.  This bldg is next door to my home and is in very dangerous condition, I have been unable to find out any thing about the results of the foreclosure the Wayne CountyTreasurer office does not return calls .  Is Corktown able to find out for me what is planned for this property I fear that it will fall on my house and take out all of my power lines, and my new windows it has been vacant for 10 or more years I have lived in North Corktown for 72 years and need an answer.  Your help would be appreciated If that is possible .  Thank you Shirley Knight 3001 Rosa Parks Blvd

Hi Shirley,

I found some information on The Loveland website, click here for link. It looks like there was a survey done in Sept 2014 and the property was recommended for demolition.
I will connect you to someone at Loveland and hopefully they can provide you with some current information on the foreclosure and see if the property is actually on a list for planned demolitions.
Perhaps you could find some information from District 6 City Council member Raquel Castañeda-López as well. Here is her email and phone: councilme...@detroitmi.gov  (313) 224-2450 (office).
I hope that is helpful, let me know how it turns out!
Best,
