Reminder: CRBA AGM this Tuesday 7PM at the Dominion - Development Update & Board Election

Dear neighbours and friends,

2011 has been a busy year in Corktown. Everybody has been saying the neighbourhood will be changing rapidly, and now we are indeed seeing lots of activity pick up. There is construction going on wherever you look, and it will be like that for a while.

Please join us for this Annual General Meeting for an overview presentation of all development activities affecting Corktown. 

The CRBA has been following up as much as possible on all these developments. Our main goal is to inform the community what can be expected. Also we want to give the neighbourhood a voice, and follow up on questions, comments and concerns. For this purpose we maintain contacts with the Councillor's office, City Planners, Developers, our MPP's office, and other relevant parties. 

Now more than ever, it is vital that we receive your input to help the CRBA represent the concerns of our area. 

A new CRBA board of directors will be elected at this meeting. All CRBA members who are resident of Corktown or a business owner in the area are eligible to cast a vote.

The CRBA has many more activities than mentioned here - and we are always looking for volunteer contributors and volunteer board members! 

Any time, ideas, expertise or brainpower you can contribute to Corktown in 2012 will be very much appreciated!

It's all about helping to improve our neighbourhood, getting to know your neighbours better, and having a laugh along the way - what could be better?
