Sexual Assault Alert, Man wanted

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a sexual assault investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at 3 a.m., a man approached a 47-year-old woman in the hallway of an apartment building in the Shuter Street/Parliament Street area

- the man engaged the woman in a conversation

- the man and woman went into one of the apartments, where the man sexually assaulted the woman

The man is described as 5’6”, skinny build with a tan complexion. He was last seen wearing a puffy red vest, a long-sleeved white shirt and khaki pants.
