Invitation to meeting to organise opposition to IMF/EU austerity visit.

Hi there,

You are invited to attend a meeting orgaised by the newly formed Enough! campaign.

Wednesday June 29th at 8 pm 

Isaccs hotel in Macurtain street.

 

The purpose of the meeting is to help build a campaign in opposition to the IMF/EU austerity program which is having, and will continue to have, a devastating impact on the lives of  working class people in this country. We believe that only mass popluar resistance like that seen in Greece and Spain etc can call a halt to this outrage.

 

With the IMF in Dublin during  July,.a National Demonstration has been organised for Dublin for Sat July 16th organised by the newly formed Enough! campaign.

 

There is also a series of events being planned in the week running up to the visit, including some events in Cork.

 

We plan on discussing ways we might build for the National demonstration and discuss what we can do in Cork during a week long series of events in the run up to the 16th.

 

We also plan on working towards a referendum on the IMF bailout like what was recently seen in Iceland.
