Brethren - Our Angel Fund need is here - and it's more than last year.  We need at least $6,000 this year to meet the needs of Concord kids alone (and that's assuming we don't increase for inflation, which we haven't for years) - and as stated below, this excludes the families in the homeless shelter who should be taken care of by the Marine Corp Toys for Tots program.  There are many touching stories here.  The attachment lists the basic family description.  Bonnie has done a great job over the years to weed out those who are really in need and as you can see the list is significant.

Please help out as your cable tow allows.  We have have $2,272 in the Angel Fund account now so we need on the order of $4000 to meet the need.  As we've done the past few years, we'll distribute the gifts in the form of gift cards.  We typically split them between TJX (TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Home Goods) and Revolutionary Concord (gift shop in town that has toys, art supplies and general gifts).

Payment Options:

- Write a check to "Corinthian Lodge" and put "Angel Fund" in the memo.  Mail it to Secretary - Corinthian Lodge,, 58 Monument Square, Concord, MA 01742

- Venmo to @CorinthianLodge:

... But the greatest of these is charity.

Contribute as you can brothers!

Hi Doug,

Attached is this year’s list of Concord families in need.

Once again, this year’s list is longer than the year before. In 2022 there were 52 families representing 101 kids on the list. This year there are 64 families representing 118 kids. So, 17 more kids, which works out to significantly more money – please know that we appreciate however much support the Masons are able to provide, you all are so generous!

In case you are asked, I want to be clear that every family on the list lives in Concord. Town residents have been very generous to the families living in the Best Western Homeless Shelter that opened last March, but it’s clear that we can’t support those families, in addition to the Concord families, as the numbers would at least double. (I learned this the hard way with my Backpack Drive. I provided some of the donated backpacks and school supplies to the shelter families first, and then ran out of backpacks for the Concord kids on this list. It worked out, as a generous donor stepped in, thankfully!) Happily, Toys for Tots has reached out specifically to provide toys to the shelter families over the holidays, and MOC, the agency supporting the homeless families, will also be providing support over the holiday.

As always, year after year, I want to thank all of our Masons of the Corinthian Lodge for your overwhelming generosity to our needy neighbors!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
