Brethren -

The season is upon us!!  Attached is the town of Concord's request for holiday gift assistance.  As you can see, it's a sizable ask but each year we've managed to provide $50 gift cards to each and every child.  This year that adds up to just sort of $5,000 - so we need your generous help!  We do have some funds already, but we no longer receive any matching funds as the parent Angel Fund is defunct.  So we need to do this all by ourselves.

Please give as generously as you can.  As soon as we have funding we can buy the gift cards and distribute them to the town so the families can shop with dignity for their children.

You can mail checks made out to Corinthian Lodge with "Angel Fund" in the notes - mail to Corinthian Lodge, 58 Monument Square, Concord, MA 01742.

Or, if you prefer to Pay by credit card.

Your generosity will be immensely appreciated by someone who really needs it.

Sincerely and Fraternally,

Doug Ellis & the Angel Fund Committee.

Hi Doug,

Attached is my list of Concord children in need this holiday season. The numbers are fairly consistent with the past few years (my notes show that we had 51 families last year with 95 children). This year we have 49 families with 99 children, so the number of children is up slightly.

As in past years, any type of gift cards are useful to the families! TJ Maxx, Target, Staples, Walgreens, supermarkets, local merchants, or VISA cards – any of these gift cards will be gratefully received by our low-income neighbors.

Just FYI - I’ll be on vacation the last couple of weeks of December; my last day will be December 16th (I leave the next day to visit my son in Dallas), so I’m hoping to have all the gift cards and Silent Fund envelopes distributed by then. Does that schedule work for you? That’s only just a little under a month away.

Many thanks to you and your fellow members of the Corinthian Lodge for your annual, generous holiday gift to Concord children in need!

Take care,

Bonny Wilbur
