Brethren,

It's that time of year again when the Angel Fund shines!  I'm sharing the list our Community Resources Director, Bonny Wilbur sent us so you can see first hand the lives we can directly impact in our own community.

Since Bonny sent the note last week, we arranged for the gifts to be gift cards from the 5&10 and Revolutionary Concord so we'll be supporting our local merchants - and of course Maynard in the 5&10's final month.

Here's the good news and the bad news -  The good news is that last year we got a nice match from the Angel Fund Foundation so we're in good shape to get the ball rolling.  The bad news is the Masonic Angel Fund organization is no more so we're on our own going forward - so your donations mean even more than ever.

So - we really need your support to bolster the fund if within the length of your cable tow!

We will accept a donation in any form you prefer:
  • You can mail checks to the lodge - 58 Monument Square, Concord, MA 01742 or
  • Paypal: https://paypal.me/CorinthianLodge  - you can leave a note so we know it's for the Angel Fund.
This time of year I'm especially proud to be a Mason when I see directly the impact we can make to so many families right here in Concord!

God Bless Brothers,

Doug

Hi Doug,

Attached is my list of Concord children in need this upcoming holiday season. As in past years, I’ve used initials to identify the families. I’ve listed those families who are struggling the most – as you will see, many have lost their jobs due to the COVID virus. There are a total of 51 families listed, with a total of 95 children. We thank the Corinthian Lodge for however much you are able to help! This is a very tough year for everyone.

You should feel free to purchase gift cards from any vendor you wish – any gift card is appreciated. The T.J. Max/Marshalls/Home Goods cards you’ve donated in the past are very helpful, as so many different things can be purchased at those stores. Staples, CVS, Walgreens, Target, supermarkets, or any local businesses (bookstores, gift shops, even restaurants) are all welcome too. Please do whatever you find easiest – I have found that every gift card donated is gratefully received!

Finally, my last day in the office before Christmas will be Wednesday, December 16th (my kids will be coming home for Christmas!) which is a huge change from my normal schedule of working right up to Christmas Eve. I’m very excited to have more time with my family, but it does mean that all my deadlines have to be pushed up a week.

Please don’t hesitate to let me know if you have any questions regarding any of the families, or any of the logistics I’ve mentioned. And I’d like to once again thank all of you with the Corinthian Lodge for this extremely generous support that you provide every holiday season to the needy children in Concord!

Take care,

Bonny
