Hello, and welcome to the CORGIS Datasets Project (fomerly named RealTimeWeb), short for the "Collection of Real-time, Giant, Interesting, Situated Datasets". The goal of this project is to create simple libraries that let programming novices quickly use authentic, rich data sources as they learn fundamental techniques of programming. To that end, we have created a toolchain to scaffold this process.

This forum is dedicated to discussing the future of the CORGIS project and solve problems that our users have. We are interested in making deployment of our technology as smooth as possible, so please do not hesitate to ask for new features, changes, or special cases. We have long term hopes that this community will grow into a new paradigm for introductory programming contexts - "[Big] Data Science", alongside existing popular contexts such as "Game Development" or "Media Computation". We would like YOU to be a part of that community, whether as a user, developer, or other role. This community is intended to be a safe zone, and we ask all members to remain respectful toward each other. As a baseline, we intend to follow the ACM Code of Ethics.
