I know it's early goings since Xcode 8 only just got released, but in testing out upgrading to it and then building an app that uses core plot, I get:

id<CPTPlotDelegate> theDelegate = self.delegate;  Initializing '__strong id<CPTPlotDelegate>' with an expression of incompatible type 'id<CALayerDelegate> _Nullable'

in pointingDeviceUpEvent and pointingDeviceDownEvent.

Anyone else seeing the same? Any possible fix?

The release-2.2 branch contains a bunch of fixes for the new issues that appeared with Xcode 8. Now that Xcode 8 is out, I'm working on finalizing the release, but it will probably take a few days to iron out the last few issues. In the meantime, use the code on that branch.
