I am getting "BLKRRPART: Device or resource busy" error when I try to install CoreOS on my DELL server.
I have started by installing Ubuntu 14.04, with a single block device  /dev/sda
The I ran coreos-install, copied from the github:
sudo ./coreos-install -d /dev/sda -C stable -c ./cloud_config.yaml

I can provide .yaml file if necessary, but I suspect it is not the source of the problem as this error is from sfdisk.

Any help would be very appreciated.

Thanks,
    Igor.

You aren't running the coreos-install script from the running OS are you?

Like Alex said, don't run the installation script from the same running drive (boot of SystemRescueCD or similar liveCD-like system).  Also, though, I routinely have to wipe my partition tables (lazily, I do: dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdX bs=1M count=100 seek=0... note this will WIPE the contents of the disk, for practical purposes), then reboot, or I get the 'Device or resource busy' message.
