how to properly configure a 2 node cluster with etcd-member ?

Hello.

I'm trying to configure etcd-member.service to start etcd3 daemons in both of my coreos nodes.

when I run 'etcdctl member list' I get:

8e9e05c52164694d: name=2169a0943a5443d1905b195039f609e6 peerURLs=http://localhost:2380 clientURLs=http://localhost:2379 isLeader=true




in both of the nodes I get that the only member is the localhost.

Hi Kfir,

It looks like your override may have an issue. I'm spot checking your SO link against this guide https://coreos.com/etcd/docs/latest/op-guide/clustering.html#tls.

One thing I immediately see are the `--initial-cluster` flag seems to be missing values. Each node contains a reference to itself in the docs version.

The other apparent thing is TLS and cert stuff looks different. Have you tried following the example in the guide? It links to https://github.com/coreos/etcd/tree/v3.1.5/hack/tls-setup

It'd either closely follow the documentation, or double check your configs to see if there are any other discrepancies.
