Hey guys, I am curious if anyone has done a TrendMicro implementation on CoreOS? I'm trying to get CoreOS tested @ NASA but regulatory hurdles would require some extra stuff added to include the Trend agents.

Thanks,
Jonathan

Assuming you can get the agent running in a container (docker privileged/unprivileged or systemd-nspawn), running it on all machines should be easy to do with either fleet global units or pulling and starting the container in your cloud-config.

If you want to go the nspawn route, here’s an example unit that is being used to run a agent for OpenStack: https://github.com/rackerlabs/ironic-python-agent/blob/master/imagebuild/coreos/oem/cloud-config.yml#L39-L49

Jonathan,

Just to let you know we haven't gone through FIPS or anything (and in fact our update model would make it next to impossible due to how they insist on interpreting versioning).

That being said I have a background in public sector work and am happy to help where I can.
