If I open Quattro Pro 9 (SP4, ver. 9.0.0.883) and check Help > About >
System Info, Available Physical Memory will Start at about 90MB. If I
close QP, then immediately reopen the program and check the same
value, it will usually have decreased by about 5 MB. Sometimes it
decreases by much more, even by more than 50 MB. This continues until
there is zero available physical memory.

I'm running Win98SE with all the updates and the latest drivers.
This problem does not occur under safe mode, but will occur if I use
msconfig to stop the loading of all startup programs, stop processing
of config.sys and autoexec.bat, etc., so that only Explorer is running
in the background. It occurs with my usual nVidia Vanta video drivers,
and with the Windows VGA drivers.
I loaded Office 2000 on a friend's computer, and the exact same thing
happened. We both have nVidia graphics cards running under Win98SE,
but otherwise the computers are quite different.
Any ideas?
