Hi Malcolm. Sorry for the late reply. If you've resolved the problem,
please disregard.

Can you print from programs other than WP when your wife's PC is off?

If so, it sounds like it's just the DLL file and not the printer itself
that WP is looking for. Somehow, WP is using that file and pulling it
from your wife's PC. Do a search for that file on your wife's PC and
then copy it to the same directory onto yours.

Report back to the group. I'd be interested to know whether it works.
I've had similar issues with other types of software in the same
environment as yours. I still dont know why it happens
