I need help with a formula. I am looking for a formula that will populate a calf number after entering a cows number. If the cows number is 7A12 the 7=year born(2007) A=generation(-=first calf A=2nd calf etc.) 12=cows #
Example
Cow 1 Gen. 2 Gen 3 Gen 4 Gen 5 Gen 6 Gen 7 Gen 8 Gen
7A12 9-12 0A12 1B12 2C12 3D12 4E12 5F12 6G12
If A1 is 7A12 in the year 2013, A2 sould populate 3D12
If A1 is 7A12 in the year 2015, A2 sould populate 5F12
