Quattro Pro 8.0 Print Problem of 5.0 Version file

I have a large Quattro Pro spread sheet that is about 15 Megs in size.
There are several macros that prints various parts of the spread
sheet when the user selects those options. It currently prints from
the following:
-- Application: Quattro Pro 5.0 for Windows (1993)
-- OS: Windows 3.1
-- PC: older Pentium (DYNEX P54C)
-- Network: Novell 4.11.00
-- Print: HP5SI.
However, when opening the spread sheet into Quattro Pro 8.0 not all of
the cells print, and each time that there is a new page the printer
ejects about 4 to 5 blank pages. This makes a 15 page report about 80
pages, where most of the pages are blank. This would not be so bad,
except that much of the cell information that is supposed to print
simply does not. The PC setup is as follows:
-- Application: Quattro Pro 8.0.0.611 for Windows (1997)
-- OS: Windows NT
-- PC: (same as above)
-- Network: (same as above)
-- Print: (same as above)
It would be nice to isolate the problem and change only one thing
(Application version or the OS) at a time, but am not in a position to
be able do that (government contractor) or even suggest that unless
there is a reasonable certainty that the suggestion will work.
I know that this problem is a little unusual, but any suggestions or
even an out right solution would be greatly appreciated. Even an odd
suggestion or 2 would be appreciated; it may jogging someone else's
memory to a similar problem they had.
