Copied formulas return result of formula rather than coping the formula as I desire.

When I copy a formula and then paste it to another cell, Quattro Pro seems to be copying the result of the formula, not copying the formula. example: +2+2 when pasted into another cell gives a value of 4 in the cell and also 4 as the entry in the cell.I would expect the pasted cell to show 4 but the entry to be +2+2 as it was in the original.
I suspect that there is some setting that I accidentally hit that causes Quattro Pro to copy the result of the fotmula rather than the formula, but I can't find this setting. Any help would be appteciated.
