Installation WP8 : running application

Installing WP 8 (version 8.00.478) from a netdrive (netware 4.1) to a
workstation (windows 98 SE), I got the dialog box message, at the
begining of the installation :
Tittle : Running application,
body : a empty bar in blue
buttons : 'Close a application' is invalided, 'Continue' : nothing,
'Quit'

I can only quit the installation program.
I have clean the tepory files from c:\windows\temp. I have also check
the registry. I have installed the WP8 on the netdrive (administration
installation) from this workstation.
Can you explain me what is this process (no application run but install
application) and what i must do to install this program.

If the application was properly installed to the network, you should be
running the *workstation* setup; are you?

Have you closed all Corel applications first? This would have to include
DAD* and POP*, two applications that might be running if the station
already has some Corel software installed (for example, DAD7 might be
running if the station has WP7 installed.) The dialog box simply tells
you that if you want to proceed, you have to let it close those
applications first.

You can also highlight the application(s) which are shown as running, and
*then* choose "Close application"; until you select at least one app,
there is nothing to close so the selection is not available.
