i am trying to load corel on my lap top. i started by using a direct cable
connection. this froze up on me, several times. i then tried dumping the
whole cd to my hard drive, although this took a long time it is still
failing. it is trying to locate a file perfe8.ini. can any one help

Clean out your TEMP folder, remove the COREL directory completely (unless
you somehow had a prior install fromwhich you need to retain
customizations.) Make sure there is enough free space on the drive.
Look for VOLINFO.TXT and see what version of WP8 it is; hopefully not
8.0.0.153, or else if it is that very-obsolete version then you should
order an update CD & not even attempt to use the one you have.
