Why won't it print?

Once in a while I run into a situation where
a file just won't print. I keep getting an "error initializing output
device" message. Yet the files just above and below the
bad guy, on the same floppy, print just fine.

I've tried making an end run around this
by renaming the file; by copying & pasting it
and Saving it under a different name. Doesn't
help.

Finally gave up and cut/pasted it
to WordPad, and it printed out OK.

Any idea why this one file
wouldn't print? (Using an HP L4)
