Page up when press the "-" key!!!

This problem has existed all the way to WP5.0 for DOS!!! How come pressing
the "-" key on the numeric keypad causes a Page up command? How do you fix
this so that if num lock is on, the "-" works properly??

It pages up due to a macro assignment placed on that particular
key-stroke to do just that. I haven't used version 7 in awhile (I
prefer 8), but the concept is the same (even if the exact path isn't):
Find your keyboard preferences (in 8 it's
tools/settings/customize/then choose keyboards), choose to edit your
keyboard (there will be multiple keyboard choices - make sure you edit
the one you are using) and on the left hand side you should see a
listing of all the shortcut keys. Scroll down until you find the
offensive 'Num -' and remove the assignment. You may also want to
remove the assignment from the other num keys.
