cannot initialize

occationally, when I have wordperfect 6.1 running along with several other
programs at the same time, I get an error message saying "cannot
initialize." When I click OK, WP closes. Then when I try to open WP, I get
the same error message "cannot initialize." The only way I can open up WP
after that happens, is to shut down and re-boot. Does anyone have any idea
what's happening?
