Has anybody had success using the "locate" and "print" macro commands to
display
information directly onto a screen rather than in a message box.

The following macros will cleanly compile but will fail as shown when
executed:

Example 1

print "Hello"

results in runtime error 207 (Invalid Function: Print)

Example 2

locate 10,15
print "Hello"

results in runtime error 207 (Invalid Function: Locate)

I know that some macro features were never fully implemented while
others were
incorrectly documented. Is this a documentation or an implementation
problem?

Thanks in advance for your response.

P.S. Where are InfoCentralites congregating these days???

Kennith,

I have noted that there was so much built into InfoCentral that needed work,

I get the feeling that when Corel bought it, they were not sharp enough
in-house
to keep the application going (CorelCentral, that pitiful piece of Outlook
rip-off
crap bears that out) and to cheap to pay get the original programmers
onboard.
I get the feeling that you will die of old age before anyone finds the
source code
and realizes that it should be revitalized.
I have had to keep one system running Win9x just so that I can use IC, it
won't
install on any of my NT systems.
Good hunting though, let me know if Corel ever wakes up and I might start
buying
there products again.

Thank you for your reply. Note that there is an NT-enabled version of
InfoCentral7 that is available to licensed owners of Corel WordPerfect Suite 7
Professional. I recently purchased this product on e-bay to acquire the
NT-enabled version of InfoCentral in anticipation of migrating to Windows 2000.

Good luck.
