We are using Ventura Publisher 4.1 in Win 3.1

How can we generate a PS file for sending to our publisher, for generating
films. PS is what he told us, our idea is that it is a Postscript file
(Maybe not).

It is a Postscript file. He also needs to tell you what Postscript printer
to use. Install the Postscript printer to the FILE port. You will then need
to install the fonts you are using (unless you are using only fonts resident
in the printer ROM.

If you already have a PS printer installed along with the necessary fonts
use it and check Print to File.

Once you have printed to file it is a good idea to check the file before
sending it to the printer. If you don't have a PS printer to print to,
Ghostscript is a good tool to use. www.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost

If you do not currently have a PS printer installed, it gets a bit involved
so Let me know if this is the case and I'll tell you what else you need to
do.

Thank you for your help. We have an HP Laserjet 4L printer which should work
fine for the output. We will soon be generating PS files.
