Scaling cloned frames

Hello...and I apologize if this question has already be
discussed, but help!

I need to create a manual, but I've had trouble finding a
software product that will handle the layout. It looks like
Ventura will almost do it, though, if I could just convince
the program not to reduce the scale of the pages.

I'm trying to print two copies of same 5.5 x 8.5 page side
by side and duplexed, so that in one pass we can produce two
complete manuals. I thought I could accomplish that by using
the print options to set two columns and clone the frame,
but Ventura insists on scaling the pages down to 83% of
their original size. Is there any way around that in version
5, or will a later version of Ventura eliminate the problem?
