FYI:

I had to change a form exit ( in a switch statement ) to a close to
stop GPF on a form that work most of the time under win XP SP1; it had
a 1 in 30 times that it GPF and I never was able to find the cause.
Under the RC1 SP2 it did it 5 in 5 times.

I replaced the exit with a close and problem went away.

first idea: check that you're not using

exit()

to close Paradox and then going on with code. For example, the best
way
to run these things is, IMHO, to start the whole thing with a script
that launches and waits for the desktop form. Only when the script
resumes does it conclude with an exit() command. If you do an exit()
within a form, for example, and then go on to try closing the form,
there may be nothing for the form to return to ('cos Paradox is
already
gone !) so you get the GPF.
