I have a peculiar problem which requires help from someone well-versed
in Paradox 8 and , preferably a social science background.

Three years ago, with the help of a friend and knowing the basics of
Paradox 7, I set up a relational database which connects seven database
tables, each one having several fields, some common, some not.. they are
shaped/connected in the form of a pyramid organized through one primary
key, which connects all seven and than, tweo secondary keys, which link
3 tables together

A key databse links to two lower order ones..each lower table is then
linked to two others..they all have to do with tracking land data(buying
and
selling, consolidations) and loans..covering a period of a 100 years.

Havng spent two years in data entry alone, it is now time to run some
queries and reports which would have to gather data in several
cominations..these include time-specific data and also financial
transaction data..

I do not have any expertise on this. I am looking for someone whho
might be able to provide tutorials or write the queries themselves or
run
reports..

I will be happy to pay something reasonable as I am a graduate student
and not a business person. Preference is for someone who lives in
mid-Michigan, in and around Flint, Saginaw, Ann Arbor, etc..

If anyone is interested, please email me privately at:
aai...@flint.umich.edu

Thank you.

Ananth,

I expect you could get some help here if you post the table structures and
what you are trying to get out of the tables. Don't attach the tables. Just
type the structures like:

Tablename.db
FieldName Type Key
FieldName Type

Also indicate secondary indices. Further, indicate the table relations by
indicating Table name, link type (1:1, 1:M, M:M) and the fields the link is
on.

Then tell us the questions.
