Paradox 7/8 with SQL 7

Do you know if we can use Paradox 7 or 8 with SQL 7. We have been beating
our heads against the wall with Corel's 900 lines and toll free lines but
no one can answer. We were able to to see the tables in SQL 7 with Paradox
7/8 but when we tried to do a query, it returned "compatiblity error". We
are able to work with SQL 6.5 with opal and forms but have been not
successful with SQL 7.
