I installed a new hard drive using fat 32. Now when I try to import a
notebook from quatra pro to Paradox 7 I get an error "you have tried to use
an unassigned variable". I tried the knowledge base, and loading the fat 32
patch but the dos programs says a device is busy. Any ideas? Do I need to
put in a fat 16 partition?

You probably need to upgrade to a newer BDE version:
