This one seems to be such a simple query - I feel quite stupid for not
solving it. :-(

I have a 2D gif image for a logo. It is approximately circular. For the
past6 weeks I have been trying to animate it in 3D - I would like it to
rotate gracefully around the y axis - like a spinning coin that does not
wobble! If the image can have 'thickness' (like block lettering), that would
be nice, but it does not have to.

I have Corel Draw/PhotoPaint/Dream3D 8.

In PhotoPaint, I can change the view angle by degrees and build up an
animation frame by frame, but:-

1) The axis of rotation is not central - the animation is like the image is
pasted to the surface of a rotating cylinder

2) The angle of view can only be changed by 180 degress, and 360.
'Flipping' the image does not create the right effect even for the cylinder
scenario

Can anyone help, please?

Polly
