I am using Corel Draw 9 (vers. 9.439) on a Window 2000 (professional)
platform.

I have a problem with getting some equations (display of a *.DVI file)
that were created via LaTeX2e. These equations are using special fonts
(computer modern) and have been incorporated into Windows 2000
properly -- I can use these fonts in Corel Draw 9 in the Text mode!

In the past (using Corel Draw 7) I was able to cut-and-paste the
equations (or anything else for that matter) displayed in *.DVI files
(using
DVIWindo) into CD7 with no problem. Previously (before Windows 2000) I
needed to use Adobe Type Manger for processing of the fonts.

Now, when I try the same procedure with CD9 on a Windows 2000
platform it does not work -- fonts are not recognized although they are
there (Setting|Control Panel|Fonts shows this) and being used
by the clipboard and Word 2000.

Note, that the clipboard viewer shows the equations correctly and indeed

they can be pasted into Word 2000 with no problems, which implies that
CD9 is not handling the fonts properly.

I would like to know if anyone else has experienced this type of problem

and of course if would be helpful to know what can be done about this.
