I am trying to install Corel Linux but it locks up during the hardware
detection. I have a Adaptec AHA-2920 SCSI controller card (PCI). In
the hardware list there is a comment "Use the Future Domain driver.
LILO prameters are needed when used for hard disks". Does anyone know
how to do this?

Please e-mail me at: jgst...@worldnet.att.net

If this is an aic7xxx type of card, then on Debian Linux you would need to
use a modified set of boot images that have all the SCSI drivers except for
that one removed. I tried installing Corel Linux once, but couldn't get it to
work either because apparently they hadn't fixed that. Hasn't Corel Linux
modified it since its initial release? Because I got it just after it came out
and am surprised that the problem would still exist, especially since on
their hardware compatibility page aic7xxx is listed as compatible.
