The 3c509 is well supported, there is even a Linux based config
utility. You can of course also use the DOS based utility
available from 3Com.

when I put io and irq information the driver didn't work, go figure.
the driver should auto detect
I'm using rh6.2 but i think the driver is the same for most distros.
