I just got this product yesterday, Yeeee Hawww, I love the Paint program and
I am sure that it will get more use than I could ever shake a stick
at....but I am having a problem trying to create an animated Gif. I went
over the help file, and it seemed to try and explain only...I still can not
make one. I had been using "Paint Shop Pros' Animation Shop", and after
using Corel's Paint 7 I have seen so many great features that I am sure that
the Gif program must be just as nice, only I can't seem to find it.

Any help would be appreciated,

Follow these steps to create a "movie" - thats just what it is called:

To create a movie

1 Click File, New.
2. Choose a color mode from the Color Mode list box.To export as a gif
it will have to be palletted (you can do it in another mode and change
later though I prefer this method.)

3. Click the arrow at the side of the paper color swatch to open the
Paper Color Palette. If you wish to choose from a wider variety of
colors, click Others to open the Select Color dialog box.
4. Click a color swatch to choose it.
5. Type values in the Width and Height boxes to set the dimensions of
the image. If you want to use a different unit of measurement, click
the down arrow in the Units list box and choose a different one.

6. Type values in the Horizontal and Vertical boxes to set the
resolution.
7. Enable the Create a Movie check box.
8. In the Number of frames box, type in the number of frames you want
in the movie.
9. Create your Movie and then export as an animated gif.
