OCR oddity

running Draw, Ventura 8, PP8 on Win 95 machine. 128 MB Ram, lots of HDD
I have some docs I want to scan and OCR.
I scan into PP8, save as .CPT
open .CPT with OCR-TRACE 8.433
run OCR- get real good recognition, but...
part of the time, the text gets re-formatted, line endings lost- all
wrapped together into one paragraph.
I'm torn between "hmmm..." and "ARRRGH!"
the presence of graphic boxes seems to make it worse- but, it's a
nuisance to edit the bitmap to remove that stuff...
Suggestions?
