Can I import TIF's with clipping paths?

I'm trying to import a TIF image which I have produced in Photoshop complete
with a clipping path (to hide the background) into Corel Draw. (I have both
V8 & V9). It doesn't seem to work as I get the whole image complete with
background. I can place the same image in Pagemaker and the background
disappears so I think the image must be OK. Doesn't CorelDraw support TIF's
with clipping paths?
