Font problems as import EPS files.

Hi there;

I am using CD8 and it has following 2 problems as it imports EPS files.
EPS files are made by the 'xmgr', one of the popular unix plotting
program.
1. Greek Letter (Symbol)
When it imports, symbols defined in 'xmgr' are changed (like
gamma->g) if 'text' as 'text'
option is chosen. But CD8 recognizes it as symbol, strange?
Also size of subscripts included is also changed so I have to
rearrange it again.
(The problem is I have hundreds of eps files and each file may have
lots of symbols to be imported.)
2. Some texts are imported as italian. (The same problem was discussed
between Chris and Steve
11/28/99 but there is no solution at the end of discussion.)
