corel draw 8 nudging deletes selection

Hello,

Last night we had no problems with our copy of Corel Draw 8. This
morning any time we try to nudge with the arrow keys any selection the
selection dissapears. It happens on any image we open or a combination
of selected text and images.

We have tested both sets of arrow keys in other image programs and
nudging works just fine.

There do not seem to be any options related to the keyboard within
Corel Draw 8.

Any help would be most appreciated.
